It's confusing. If you think about it, you would think you wouldn't be able to see it since it is the ABSENCE of all things. Discuss.

No, black is the absense of color, white is all colors. If you take pure white light through a prism you get multiple colors. There is no black light because black is the absense of light. Black is what you can't see. So everything around the black is what you see. See?

Black just absorbs all of the colours and doesn't let any back out. White let's them all back out.
Thats why when it's sunny its best to wear white clothes so your clothes just reflect the suns light.
